This game is a crap on the PC Engine compared to the Sega CD version. It's unfaisable even with savestates...

Legit fantastic job at this look back. As a kid from the early 80’s playing mostly Sega games (European kid, so duh), this was pure nostalgia!

another easy one is galaxiga which is a mix of galaxia and galiga obviously. it's also on the phone which is different.

For me, I remembered arcade games like Pole Position 2, Bomb Jack, Donkey Kong, Out Run, WrestleFest (!), Hit the Ice (!), Sega Rally. C64, Atari and Amiga was Henrys House, Super Pipeline 2 (mario?), Internatinal soccer, IK+, the last ninja, bruce lee, pit stop, Epyx world/summer/winter/california games, defender of the crown, Bubble Bobble, stunt car racer, Kick Off, Wayne Gretzky hockey, Silkworm/Swiv. Sega Megadrive with NHL Hockey led me into this EA Sports NHL-mania. Katsumi Ninja on Atari Jaguar was also something cool! :-) Need For Speed, Duke Nukem, Blood and Half-Life was the deal on the PC. 2 year ago, I played trough Super Mario Bros 1,2 and 3. 🙂 I didn't play Rayman "back in the days" but on PS4, I bought the game for me and my kid, I was amazed and had to play until I got the trophy! I also didn't play Resident Evil, but now I have played RE1 and RE3.🙂

G-Darius is still probably my favorite of the series, but man Darius Burst is something else. Great video!

Big sega fan but the pce game is wayyyyy better

My entire gaming life was changed a couple years ago when I finally decided to seriously play shmups. There are soooooooo many great games to choose from and they are all different from each other. I've graduated into playing bullet hell games recently and that opened up another whole flood gate full of games. I love shmups just as much as I love fighting and racing games now.

I remember on Friday, sometimes Saturday evening we would go out to eat and then head out to the mall. Near the mall of course was ToysRus and Target. Inside was Sears, Penneys, Wards, and Kaybee Toys. Each week we got to buy a toy or video game. Decisions, decisions, decisions........Do you buy something at one of the first stores or hold off and maybe find something better! We also had a store called Hastings which was originally a book, magazine, and music store but got big into console gaming. Best of all they rented games!!! Also memories of the TV shows, movies, and music that was popular at the time. Fresh Prince, Saved by the Bell, Knight Rider. Movies like Ghostbusters, Die Hard, Goonies, ET. Groups like Queen, Duran Duran, Police, Toto, etc.

I think the Darius collection console and arcade should've been 1 collection and the console collection should've had all PC engine versions. Quite expensive collections they should've included every game/version
